– You retain ownership of your content.
– You are solely responsible for your content, pricing of subscriptions/contributions, compliance with applicable laws (including tax, data protection, and consumer protection laws), and fulfillment of any subscriber or contributor obligations.
– You must not use the Service for illegal purposes or in violation of third-party rights.
### 5. Payments and Revenue
Google may process payments on your behalf through integrated payment providers. Fees (if any) will be clearly disclosed. Google is not responsible for chargebacks, refunds, or disputes between you and your readers unless otherwise stated. Payouts are subject to Google’s payout policies and applicable withholding taxes.
### 6. Intellectual Property
– The Service, including its technology, design, and branding, is owned by Google. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service as intended.
– By using the Service, you grant Google a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, and display your content solely as necessary to provide and promote the Service (including featuring subscribed content on Google surfaces).
### 7. Data and Privacy

### 11. Termination
Google may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at its discretion with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Santa Clara County, California.
